Press Coffee

Located right on the Waterfront – this is a great spot to grab-and-go before exploring the local shopping, restaurants, antique shops, and scenery nearby. For those who don’t care for the thousands of different flavors of coffee, but just need the caffeine and want a great location in the heart of Old Town, this will be a great go-to. They also have small breakfast options available!

Kaleidoscope Juice Optima

Yes! They have coffee! This is a perfect option for those who are traveling with coffee lovers and non-coffee lovers. Located in the STUNNING Optima complex near Fashion Square, this place offers smoothies, cold press juices, açaí bowls, energy tonics, coffee, and more!

2. What Time Is Brunch?

No bachelorette is complete without an elaborate brunch! These are our must-experience brunch options, and for those asking – yes, these can be boozy!

Montauk

To some locals, you can consider Old Town to be centered around this place. This Hampton-inspired scene is the definition of “brunch vibes”. Offering espresso martini trees (they also have different flavors available in this style), mimosa punch (fish bowl style), healthier breakfast options, and an incredible drink menu, this one will definitely want to be at the top of your list.

Hash Kitchen

If you’re looking for an experience, and don’t mind it’s a 4 mile drive (or Uber ride) from the heart of Old Town, this is an Arizona staple to consider. Prepare your camera roll – this is totally Insta-worthy! Not only is the food menu outstanding, but there is a self-serve Bloody Mary bar AND build-your-own donuts bar!  Not to mention – the drinks have the craziest presentation. It gets packed – so make sure to get on the waitlist before heading there!

Maple & Ash

For a menu with your name on it, this is the place to go (and we’re not joking, it can actually have your name on it)! Do note, this place is not only good for brunch – their dinner menu is equally amazing. Offering beautifully crafted cocktails, a waffle tower (with any topping you could possibly want), and comes with an entree – this place is one-of-a-kind, and in the heart of all the action in Downtown Old Town!

3. Outdoor Adventures

No matter the time of the year (yes, even the summer), these outdoor activities are the perfect experience when seeking a little adventure for your group. Pro tip: book or start in the early AM or sunset during the summer months to avoid the heat. Extra pro tip: make sure to kick off your trip with these activities, and that these DON’T follow all-night bar hops or benders at Entertainment District.

Pink Jeep Tour

It is exactly how it sounds. Take a day trip up to Sedona, roughly a 2 hour and 15 min drive from Old Town, where the weather is typically cooler. Here, you’ll experience an off-road adventure in a pretty pink jeep! Book your trip in advance – they sell out fast!

Camelback Mountain Hiking

Full disclosure, this hike is NOT for the weak, but boy are the views worth it! Those who conquer it never regret it (only during it lol), and will be rewarded with a breathtaking view of the entire Phoenix Metropolitan area. There is some wall scaling involved, so hike at your own risk!

Papago Park Hiking

Now this is a hike that is built for everyone. Different trails, and can be easy or challenging as your group makes it. Not to mention, the mountains are so uniquely beautiful, making it the perfect spot to watch the sunset as the rock formations turn the most magical hue of red. There are numerous trails in the park, but the infamous Hole in the Rock is the most popular! The park is also home to the Phoenix Zoo (note, GoodNight Stay guests get a special discount), Desert Botanical Garden, museums, golf courses, and lakes, so there is plenty to do before or after hiking.

5. Unique and Memorable Daytime Experiences

On multi-day trips, sometimes the drinking needs to come to a pause. Or better yet, maybe your group is looking for experiences that don’t involve alcohol. These are our favorite activities to checkout.

Lip Lab

It’s difficult to find the perfect lip color. So why not create your own? Lip Lab helps you create your own custom lipstick by choosing your shade, finish, flavor, plus you can name it and engrave it! Prices range depending on what you choose to create your custom lipstick, and is per person. Note. This is located in North Scottsdale, and depending on where you are located, is roughly a 15-20 minute drive from Old Town Scottsdale.

Custom Hats – Rancher Hat Bar or Turquoise Candy Custom Hat Bar

Customize your own trucker or cowboy hat! Both stores offer very similar experiences of hat customization, but Rancher Hat Bar does have clothing available for shopping as well, while Turquoise Candy Custom Hat Bar also offer cowgirl boot customization and charm accessory customization. Pricing ranges depending on the hat chosen and the items used to accessorize. Both stores are located in the heart of Old Town!

6. I’m Just Here for the Drinks & Vibes

Don’t get me wrong, a lot of these places offer food as well, but our options below are the perfect backdrop to your drink of choice, or are known for their delectable specialty cocktails. This is for the pre-game!

Outrider Rooftop Lounge

Now this is a view that you will not want to miss. Perched on top of the Canopy hotel in Old Town is Outrider (take the elevator all the way to the top). Get stunning panoramic views of Camelback Mountain, Scottsdale, and the rest of the Phoenix Metropolitan area. Be warned, you will see hotel prices, but the views and vibes make it worth it. It’s the perfect spot to grab a drink before hitting the nightlife of Old Town.

Wine Girl

Nothing says bachelorette party like Wine Girl. It was literally designed for it! Located in the heart of Old Town, this place is crawling with photo ops. Enjoy classic wines from Italy, frosé, flights, and more! We recommend making a reservation so there is enough space for your whole crew!

Beverly on Main

The locals may kill us for this one, but Beverly on Main is perfect for brides and groups looking for a moody and intimate upscale cocktail experience. Do note, it does not open until 4PM. Our recommendation is the espresso martini!

7. Dinner and Vibes

Old Town offers a wide variety of restaurants – and a lot of them can be argued to be the best. However, based on what you’re here reading this blog for, these are our top choices for dinner.

Toca Madera

Can you really say you’ve been to Scottsdale if you haven’t been to Toca Madera? This is an upscale restaurant – so if you’re going to do just one fancy dinner, we HIGHLY recommend this one. With not only an incredible modern twist to Mexican cuisine, you’ll witness your drinks on fire, and watch people EAT fire. This is a must-see!

Toca Madera

Diego Pops

One could joke that this is a budget friendly version of Toca Madera…but if you’re looking for tacos, to be in the heart of it, and want a WAY more casual dinner experience, Diego Pops is a great option to check out!

Olive & Ivy

Where classy meets relaxing. This Mediterranean-style restaurant is located right on the canal, giving you the best view to pair with your meal. There is something for everyone on the menu, even the picky eaters of the group. The vibes are immaculate, and the food is amazing – a great overall experience that does not break the bank!

8. Scottsdale’s Vibrant Nightlife

Entertainment District is a mini Vegas (but so much better), and most likely where you’ll find yourself at 2AM. Everything is in walking distance, and you can see what you’re getting yourself into before even stepping inside. So you’ll know if the line is worth it. If we could only choose 3, here are our top choices.

Bottled Blonde

One of the most popular bars on the strip, it has recently expanded to two different floors and now features a massive second-floor patio deck. This club is a must-see, and you have to experience it for yourself.

Maya Day Club

If you’re really looking for Vegas vibes, you found it. Especially in the summer when the Maya pool is open and turns into an all-night pool party club! Very high energy, offers outdoor games, and a large dance floor, this is a perfect spot for bachelorette groups that have a wide range of personalities.

Maya

Barstool Scottsdale

Although it’s not technically in Entertainment District (it’s still walking distance, okay?), this new bar is massive! With fun labor lights, a huge bar, two levels, and a dance floor, this is another great spot to check out!
