Halloween is creeping closer, and Nashville is gearing up to deliver chills and thrills all across the city. Haunted houses are opening their doors, each promising twists, turns, and a few heart-stopping scares. Ready to face the city’s most thrilling haunts this spooky season? Check out some of the top haunted houses around Music City and the surrounding areas that are sure to get your heart racing.

 

Beast House

Located on Dickerson Pike, Beast House is a real-life mansion with a gruesome history dating back to 1899. Walk through the Ketchum estate where the family tragedy occurred and explore “Chaos,” a barn-structure filled with twisted horrors. Tickets range from general admission at $26.99 to VIP passes with exclusive access and perks up to $96.99. There are no age restrictions, but bring friends—screaming alone is much scarier. Parking is $5 (cash or digital payment only), so carpool if you can. Beast House is now open Friday through Sunday until November 1, and will also be open Thursday through Sunday during Halloween week.


 

Nashville Nightmare Haunted House

Just a short drive away, Nashville Nightmare is ranked among the top 5 most terrifying haunted houses in the USA. It’s open now through select nights until November 9, with attractions ranging from “Horror High Final Exam” to “Fairy Tale Hell,” each more twisted than the last. Minors under 16 must be accompanied by an adult, and children under 12 may find it too intense. Ticket prices vary by date, from $20 to $37 on weeknights and $30 to $37 on weekends, so planning ahead is key.


 

Devil’s Dungeon

Devil’s Dungeon has been a Nashville staple since 2000. Created by Slashville Haunts, this attraction features immersive sets, monsters, and top-tier tech that will make your skin crawl. Open on weekends through November 2nd, it’s recommended for ages 13 and up, with tickets priced at $29.95 for general admission or $44.95 for a speed pass. It’s the kind of haunt that keeps you guessing which shadow is real—and which one’s just acting.


 

Bloody Acres Haunted Woods

A little further out in Gallatin, Bloody Acres is open now through November 1. This 17-acre outdoor haunt features 23 scare zones with wooded trails that bring nightmares to life. Admission is $20 per person, or $30 for express entry to skip long lines (cash only). Open Fridays and Saturdays from 7 pm to 12 am, plus Sundays in October from 7 pm to 10 pm, it’s a thrilling stop for anyone looking to test their courage while trekking through the woods.


 

Miller’s Thrillers

About 45 minutes from Nashville, Miller’s Thrillers is open now on Fridays and Saturdays, with the final night on October 31. Attractions include the Zombie Hayride Reloaded and Hillbilly Hollar. Age restrictions are strictly enforced: Hillbilly Hollar is for ages 10 and up, the hayride is recommended for ages 8 and up, and anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Tickets range from $15 to $45 depending on the activity, and $20 slash passes let you skip long lines. On October 19 and 26, the attractions open an hour early at 6 pm, offering a less intense experience for kids who want to test the waters.

 

Dead Land Haunted Woods

Dead Land features three self-guided outdoor attractions, an escape game, concessions, and a bonfire. The new “Walker Curse” escape game challenges teams to solve puzzles in 10 minutes, tickets $40 for four people. VIP access ($60) covers all three attractions with skip-the-line privileges. Open Fridays and Saturdays from September 19 to November 1, it’s an immersive outdoor haunt with plenty of photo ops and a few ghost stories to keep your heart racing.


 

Slaughter House Nashville

Celebrating its 39th season, Slaughter House invites guests to move through five theaters on a 40-minute walkthrough, with combo packages that include movies or dinner for $43–63. The historic cinema’s architecture adds an extra layer of suspense, making every turn and shadow feel more chilling. Open Friday through Sunday from September 20 to November 2, it’s a seasonal thrill that keeps visitors on edge from start to finish.
