You are just minutes away from popular Trailheads, 10 minutes from Metcalf bottoms the hike to Little Greenbrier School, a great family hike for all ages. The Foothills Parkway and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park each have lots of great photo ops.
Wanting to go into town to eat or try some attractions? No problem you are only 15 to 20 minutes from those as well. Try Elviras Cafe, Hillbillies Restaurant and the Food Truck Park all located on Wears Valley Road for some great food.
After a day of play you can easily return to the inviting spaces of the cabin to have a family movie night or stream some of your favorite shows on the large flatscreen TV. Hungry? Grab a snack or prepare a meal in the fully equipped kitchen. Enjoy some board games at the dining table, play pool or throw darts in this open concept space.
You can enjoy food, beverages and relaxation on the deck facing Cove Mountain and be in awe of the beauty surrounding you. Comfortable Log rocking chairs and a picnic table await you.
This cabin features 2 master suites and sleeps 8. The spacious bedrooms feature a comfortable king-size and twin size bed. There s a Queen sleeper sofa in the living room. Each is covered with mattress and pillow protectors.
Bathroom 1 has a Jacuzzi tub with a handheld shower. Bathroom 2 has a tub shower combo unit and is accessible from the bedroom and hallway. Incredible sweeping short long range mountain views can be enjoyed from the living room, dining room, kitchen area and bedrooms. Beautiful sunrises and spectacular cloud formations will mesmerize you on most days. Wildlife viewing is a highlight often with bears crossing the property, flocks of turkey and an occasional eagle flying by. You can borrow a bell from the key holder to take with you when planning to be outside so you don t surprise a bear. This is bear country and bear spray is a wise choice if you plan on hiking. Bear attacks are very rare but it s good to be prepared.
PAVED PARKING in front of the cabin accommodates 3 or 4 vehicles depending on size. Mobility challenged guests can easily maneuver this cabin with a NO STEP entrance and wide doorways making it easier for wheelchairs, canes or walkers. While all rooms can be accessed while in a wheelchair you would need to be able to STEP OVER INTO THE TUBS so that s something to consider.
In the event of a power outage an automatic backup generator should assure guests of no more than a 30 second power interruption.

Of note: Owner s private area is on the lower level and may be occupied sometime during your stay. This area is accessed by outdoor stairs and not connected to the main upper level. A noise barrier offers privacy to guests. Owner s parking is away from the front of the cabin.

Directions: For best roads to cabin-turn off Hwy 321 onto Line Springs Road beside Mountain Brothers Store then follow GPS. Otherwise your GPS will take you to Manis Rd which is steep and curvy.

Road Condition: Mostly easy/wide roads until about 2 miles from the cabin the roads are curvy and uphill / may have trouble in snow or ice due to steepness in some areas

Check-In: there is NO check-in office, you go straight to the cabin. Once all your payments have been made, we will send you an email with the door code we will resend it a week before your stay.
